Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Recordme uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Your consent and the default
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR Reg 6) and UK GDPR Art-7, we do not set any non-essential cookie before you give consent. The privacy-preserving default is that only strictly-necessary cookies are active — analytics and marketing cookies stay switched off until you actively opt in. Our consent banner presents Accept, Customise and Reject with equal prominence: declining is as easy as accepting.
2. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the platform to function (e.g. session, authentication, security, and load-balancing cookies). These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
- Analytics / measurement — help us understand how the service is used so we can improve it. Set only with your consent; off by default.
- Marketing — used to measure and tailor communications. Set only with your consent; off by default.
3. Changing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the floating preferences control shown on the website, or from Settings → Privacy within the platform. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.
